One year ago yesterday I began selling Scentsy. I was looking for something to do on the side, but wanted it to be a product I a) liked myself and b) that wasn't overwhelming in our area. This one just seemed to be a good fit for me.
I received my first Scentsy as a wedding present. I didn't know what it was, so when I opened it, I broke the bulb. It sat around forever unused because I didn't know to buy a new bulb at Wal-Mart or buy one from a independent consultant. Once we finally fixed the light bulb and starting using it - well, we loved it! Now we have one in every room.
I enjoy independence to do what I want, when I want. I like it and my customers seem to like it. Score! It seems like these days more and more people are turning to independent consultant items for the freedom to do what they want - make their own schedule, or stay home with their kids.
